A days oil painting with Artist Laura Wallace – Dahlias

Following our wonderful 2025 & 2026 Oil Painting Workshops, Laura has added an extra day on 8th October following Arthur Parkinson’s Dahlia Masterclass and you will get to paint his creations.

Laura will offer a step by step guide to creating an oil painting and you will leave from the day with your own master piece, ready to frame. The day will start will coffee and a talk about art and approach to painting to get your creative juices flowing.

Laura will then demonstrate and guide you through the process from initial sketching to colour mixing, looking at composition, tone and applying the oil paints. Don’t worry if you have not painted since school. By the end of the day Laura promises you will be amazed by your creations. This is our second workshop due to the overhwelming success of the first day in June. This is a real gem of a workshop and you will be amazed by the piece of art who will create under Laura’s guidance.

Please don’t worry if you haven’t picked up a paint brush ever or for a long time, you will be guided step by step and you will be amazed by your creation!

All materials will be supplied. Please arrive at 9.30 am for coffee to start at 10 am.
